Surselva Impact Lab - Löwenberg

History

2020 the not for profit association Surselva Impact Lab was initiated by Dr. Ralf C. Schlaepfer to salvage the impressive 3500m2 building located above Schluein from deceit. After castle Löwenberg, originally built in the 10th. Century, burned down in 1889, the new Löwenberg was build from the remainders just some hundred meters to the west. It was used over time as orphans home, boarding school and asylum for refugees.
