SENCO (SENCO Hydrogen Capital) is a German-based, independent private equity investment company, focused on the hydrogen economy and its attached infrastructure.

Founded by a group of experienced investment professionals and leading industry and hydrogen experts in 2021, SENCO provides institutional investors with a one-stop access to the rapidly growing hydrogen economy. As an independent, sector-focused investment firm with deep industry expertise, SENCO is driving the decarbonization process and creating long-term benefits for society, nature, and investors. Thereby, SENCO is the first German investment firm fully focused on the hydrogen industry.

Its name is derived from the Esperanto word for "sense," reflecting the company's belief that, just as Esperanto is a universal language, hydrogen is a universal element for a paradigm shift in the energy system.

The headquarter of SENCO is in Munich, while SENCO also has offices in Hanover and Cologne.

SENCOs provides investment management services for professional investors including insurance companies, funds of funds, government agencies, sovereign funds and pension funds.
